The wrong pictures

All I want
Margaret Johnson
Cambridge University press 2000

A summary of the story
Alex noticed a small crowd of people standing outside the gallery. They all seemed to be holding cameras. Alex and Brad got into the gallery round the back so that they wouldn't be seen by people. Alex didn't know what was going on. So Brad handed her a newspaper. The newspaper said "BRIGHTON GALLERY IN FORGERY SCANDAL." In fact it turned out that all of the Ralph Blackman paintings he bought were fakes. Then some of journalists entered. Alex and Brad went outside to escape from them. (continued next time.)

curiosity:好奇心
By now I'm almost dying of curiosity.
crossly:不機嫌に
’I know what a fake is,' I say a little crossly.

  1. Good! I would appreciate it if you would also include the page numbers of that section of the book that you read.
